At Coffee-mate®, we believe life is all about finding what you love. For more than 50 years, we’ve crafted and sought new flavors in the pursuit of a creamer we love to make, and we hope you love to drink.

From the very beginning, we knew it wasn’t just about transforming a cup of coffee, it’s about transforming your morning and inspiring you to turn the everyday into the exceptional.

We want the flavor in your cup to inspire your search for the flavor in the world around you, because no matter where you are in your journey, when you stop and savor the moments you love, you start to savor the search even more.

We hope we can be part of your journey in finding what you love, just as you have been part of ours.

From day one, our mission has been to transform your morning and help you find what you love, but in these last five decades, we’ve done significant transforming ourselves. We started out with the best-tasting powdered creamer for simple yet satisfying coffee enjoyment. Most recently, as a commitment to more fulfilling lives, we created Natural Bliss, a line of all-natural dairy creamers made with no GMO ingredients and milk sourced from cows not treated with added growth hormone* (* No significant difference has been shown between milk from rBST treated and non rBST treated cows.). To this day, Coffee-mate® continues to innovate and explore, and we’re excited to take on the journey of our next transformation. Take a look at what we’re up to now.

We've found that coffee and relationships have a lot in common. Both take time to foster. Both take a lot of care and attention to the details. Both reveal the joys of discovery, learning, and sharing.

We love the way coffee brings people together and we feel completely honored to have a small part in that. Passenger was born out of these simple pleasures, uniting our talents and skills into one passionate pursuit in the city we love.

Café Britt started the way most of our days do: with the search for great coffee. Although Costa Rica has been producing some of the world’s best coffee for more than one hundred years, before Britt, all gourmet coffee was exported. Costa Ricans and visitors to the country only had access to the lower-quality beans reserved for domestic consumption. But where many people would have seen a barrier, Café Britt saw an opportunity.

Fast forward more than thirty years, and Café Britt not only roasts the best coffee from Costa Rica, but also from Perú, Ecuador, Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia. With fewer than 350 employees, we are dedicated to continuously improve and innovate our product line, which currently has more than 500 gourmet products including coffee, chocolate, and cookies. We are particularly proud of our reputation as a socially and environmentally responsible company, focusing on the well-being of our employees, our community, and the environment.

Every day, we go to work hoping to do two things: share great coffee with our friends and help make the world a little better. It was true when the first Starbucks opened in 1971, and it’s just as true today.

Back then, the company was a single store in Seattle’s historic Pike Place Market. From just a narrow storefront, Starbucks offered some of the world’s finest fresh-roasted whole bean coffees. The name, inspired by Moby Dick, evoked the romance of the high seas and the seafaring tradition of the early coffee traders.

In 1981, Howard Schultz (Starbucks chairman and chief executive officer) had first walked into a Starbucks store. From his first cup of Sumatra, Howard was drawn into Starbucks and joined a year later.

In 1983, Howard traveled to Italy and became captivated with Italian coffee bars and the romance of the coffee experience. He had a vision to bring the Italian coffeehouse tradition back to the United States. A place for conversation and a sense of community. A third place between work and home. He left Starbucks for a short period of time to start his own Il Giornale coffeehouses and returned in August 1987 to purchase Starbucks with the help of local investors.

From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection.

If you’re a hippie or a hipster, a mechanic or a mom, we’re making the most out of your coffee. To get out there and get after it. Crush it. And make the most out of your day. Seems simple, but making it right takes passion, patience, and yes, lots of coffee.

We scour the world for the most bad-a** beans, and bring them back to our home in Austin, where small-batch air-roasting is an art form and no beans get burned. Our famous Hill Country water hangs slow & cold with our roast, bringing out, Inc., doing business as Amazon is an American electronic commerce and cloud computing company based in Seattle, Washington that was founded by visionary Jeff Bezos on July 5, 1994.
